Core Tutor

Ginette Blom (1961) studied spatial art and design at the Royal Academy of Art and Design in 's-Hertogenbosch and both interior design and urban interior design at the Utrecht School of the Arts.  Between 1996 and 2003 she worked for several offices for urban design and landscape architecture like Atelier Quadrat, Rotterdam, and MTD landscape architects, ’s-Hertogenbosch. Nowadays  she runs 'Blom&Moors design for public space', in collaboration with Jacqueline Moors. She participates in both art and design projects, always related to public space. She writes about public space and product design for magazines like ‘De Blauwe Kamer’ and ‘Scape’.

"My view at public space is based on the dynamic relationship between public, place and product. The quality of a place will reveal when all these aspects are consciously related. I will guide you through your final design project, stimulate you to develop your personal fascination into a professional attitude, and coach you towards a valuable and refreshing result."
