Why we need beauty?
If I ask this question, I think you will answer that beauty make life better. And also, beauty will help you with your
career, one study found that people low in physical attractiveness earn 5 to 10 percent less than ordinary looking
people, who in turn earn 3 to 8 percent less than those who are considered good looking.
How to judge beauty?
Different colour people have different judgement of beauty, also different period have different judgement. If you
walking in any big city of China, you will find most of the advisments of makeup are white beauties, with big blue
eyes, high nose, white clear skin, and curly figure. To be like this is most of Chinese girls dream.
Problem
What is western beauty? The same as China, different time have different judgement, which elements influence
beauty in western countries? Why Chinese want to be western beauty? Why Chinese negated own traditional
beauty?
How do I research these problems?
By knowing the history of western beauty, compare with Chinese beauty history, find the reason why Chinese
prefer to be western beauty instead of Chinese beauty. I want use the Chinese history and traditional culture to
find the real Chinese beauty, which is belong to our culture. Or make social campaigns to awake Chinese self
beauty consciousness.
